IsoCanMed, an important licensed producer of cannabis in Quebec approved by Health Canada located in Louiseville is currently seeking candidates to meet its human resources management needs.

Your role will include the following tasks:

  • Carry out the complete staffing process: drafting and posting of positions in the relevant media, receiving and evaluating resumes, initial selection of candidates, telephone and in-person interviews, interview logistics, taking references, welcoming new employees, etc.;
  • Be the main point of contact for employees in terms of total compensation (salary, salary benefits, time off, etc.);
  • Manage employee files in the system and maintain complete and up-to-date files;
  • Oversee compensation as well as the administration of salaries and benefits. Ensure the accuracy of data regarding changes, promotions and transfers;
  • Ensure internal communications;
  • Carry out the required follow-ups in terms of training and compile data for the law on skills;
  • Develop human resources management policies and guidelines and support team members in understanding and applying practices;
  • Develop a process for evaluating and monitoring employee performance and acting as an advisor;
  • Sitting on the social committee, organizing social activities and proposing new ideas;
  • Write discipline letters and advise leaders on the disciplinary process;
  • Assist during the end of employment and carry out exit interviews and other required documents.

Required training

General description of the position

Reporting to the Hygiene and Sanitation Team Leader of the production equipment, the sanitation worker will ensure that all requirements and compliance standards are met in all sanitation practices in our establishment. The role involves someone who is able to maintain a sustained work performance, who will prioritize their tasks and understand the operational issues of the entire company in relation to their tasks. 

Tasks and responsibilities

The following tasks and responsibilities should be performed according to the standard operating procedures (SOPs) in effect:

  • Clean the production equipment and clean up the premises ;
  • Perform various sanitation and cleaning tasks ;
  • Work in collaboration with the other teams and according to each person’s priorities ;
  • Ensure that responsibilities are fulfilled effectively and help maintain a quality product and optimal operations ;
  • Ensure that the work is done safely and on time ;
  • Follow all directives relating to sanitation tools and equipment ;
  • Demonstrate constant attention to detail in all aspects of procedures ;
  • Maintain the highest levels of cleanliness and sanitary requirements inside the production area and facilities ;
  • Use and maintain equipment and tools properly ;

Horticulture position with in-house waged training

Job Description

Reporting to the Production Manager, this horticulture position is located in Louiseville, QC.

The successful candidate must be organized and detailed oriented. 

The following tasks and responsibilities are to be performed according to our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

  • Ensure optimal plant health and productivity through continuing care ;
  • See to maintain vigor, growth and plant health ;
  • Participate in cultivation related activities such as pruning, cloning, harvesting and crop maintenance throughout the cycles ;
  • Take part in the destruction and cleaning activities ;
  • Maintain logbooks of data, work performed and the use of equipment in appropriate logbooks ;
  • Perform transactions on the management software ;
  • Follow up and ensure inventory accuracy ;
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment ;
  • Other duties as required.

Required Skills

Previous Agriculture/Horticulture training or experience is welcome

  • Excellent manual dexterity ;
  • Organizational skills and detailed oriented ;
  • Ability to communicate with all employees and perform effective teamwork ;
  • Apply and comply to IsoCanMed SOPs ;
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs ;
  • Adapt to activity changes in order to meet operational needs.
